Adjudication Placement Awards
Every participant will be awarded with an OnStage custom designed pin and ribbon recognizing their achievement of Silver, High Silver, Gold, High Gold, Platinum, Diamond or Diamond with Distinction score.
1st, 2nd and 3rd Placement Awards
Routines that place 1st, 2nd and 3rd within a category will receive an OnStage custom designed pin.
Performance Awards
These awards are given at every awards ceremony. Performance Awards are presented for exceptional qualities in participants, choreography and costuming and are not based on the judges’ marks. Our judges will interact with the participants directly at each award session, in order to enhance the learning the experience for all participants.
Judges’ Choice Awards
A Judges’ Choice Award will be presented to an outstanding performance of their choice at every award session.
Choreography Awards
A Choreography Award will be presented to the routine showcasing outstanding choreography in the Novice and Competitive Level 1 classifications. In the Competitive Level 2 classification Choreography Awards will be presented in the following Age Divisions: Mini, Junior, Intermediate and Senior. These Cash Awards are presented to the Choreographer of the routine.
Note:
- There must be a minimum of twenty-five routines entered in each classification and/or age division for the choreography scholarship to be awarded.
Novice Division
Novice Overall Awards
1st, 2nd and 3rd place Highest Mark Overall Trophies and Cash Scholarships will be awarded in the Mini, Junior, Intermediate and Senior age divisions. When there is a significant amount of Novice entries received at an event the Overall Awards for Novice will be broken down further in the following entry divisions: Solo, Duet/Trio, Small Group, Large Group/Line.
Note:
- There must be a minimum of five routines entered in each age division/entry division for the trophy and scholarship to be awarded.
- In the event that the same Soloist places more than once for an Overall Award, only their top score will be used.
- All entries are reviewed prior to each event. When there is a significant amount of Novice entries received for an event, the Overall Awards will be broken down further into the following entry divisions: Soloist, Solo, Duet/Trio, Small Group and Large Group/Line.
Novice Top Mark Award
This custom trophy and cash scholarship is presented to the Novice routine that has achieved the highest (average) mark of the competition. Novice solos, duet/trios and group routines from all age categories are eligible for this prestigious award. This award is in addition to the Overall Awards presented in each age division (Mini, Junior, Intermediate and Senior).
Competitive Level 1 Division
Competitive Level 1 Overall Awards
1st, 2nd and 3rd place Highest Mark Overall Trophies and Cash Scholarships will be awarded in the Mini, Junior, Intermediate and Senior age divisions. When there is a significant amount of Competitive Level 1 entries received at an event the Overall Awards for Competitive Level 1 will be broken down further in the following entry divisions: Solo, Duet/Trio, Small Group, Large Group/Line.

Competitive Level 1 solos, duet/trios and group routines from all age categories are eligible for this prestigious award. This award is in addition to the Overall Awards presented in each age division (Mini, Junior, Intermediate and Senior).
Competitive Level 2 Division
Top Solos and Title Winner
The Top 3, Top 5, Top 10 or Top 15 Highest Mark Solos, in each age division, will be recognized, in the Competitive Level 2 division. The 1st Place Soloist in each age division will be crowned Title Winner!
Competitive Level 2 Overall Awards
1st, 2nd and 3rd place Highest Mark Overall Trophies and Cash Scholarships will be awarded in the Mini, Junior, Intermediate and Senior age divisions, in the following entry divisions: Duet/Trio, Small Group, Large Group/Line.

Highest Mark of the Competition Award (Competitive Level 2 Group)
This custom trophy and cash scholarship is presented the Competitive Level 2 Group Routine that has achieved the highest (average) mark of the competition. Competitive Level 2 small groups, large groups, lines and extended lines from all age divisions are eligible for this prestigious award.
Vocal Overall Awards
Vocal entries have separate overall awards from other disciplines in the classifications of Novice, Competitive Level 1 and Competitive Level 2, in the age divisions of Mini, Junior, Intermediate, Senior, Young Adult and Adult.
Note: There must be a minimum of five routines entered in each classification/age division for the trophy and scholarship to be awarded.
Top Mark Discipline
The highest mark in each of our dance disciplines will receive a fabulous OnStage custom trophy. The recipients are selected from all divisions: Solo, Duet/Trio, Small Group, Large Group and Line. Top Mark Discipline Trophies will be awarded in the Competitive 1 and Competitive 2 classifications.
Note: There must be a minimum of 5 routines entered in the dance discipline for the trophy to be awarded.
Top Team Award
The winner of this award will be calculated by taking an average of the studio’s top 5 highest (average) Competitive Level 2 group routine marks. (Small group, large group, line and extended line routines from all age divisions are eligible). The Top Team will be presented with the Top Team Trophy and cash scholarship. Also, please note the eligibility requirements below.
Note:
- To be eligible for this award a studio must have a minimum of 5 Competitive Level 2 group routines and a total of 25 routines or more registered in the competition.
- In the event of a tie, both studios will receive a trophy and the cash scholarship will be split.
Top Mark Production
The production receiving the highest mark will be awarded with our Top Mark Production Trophy and a cash scholarship. All production routines, from all classifications, are eligible for the Top Mark Production Award.
Note:
- There must be two or more productions entered in the competition for the trophy/scholarship to be awarded.
- In the event of a tie, both routines will receive a trophy and the cash scholarship will be split.
Top Mark Pro/Am
The Pro/Am entry receiving the highest mark will be awarded with our Top Mark Pro/Am Trophy and a cash scholarship.
Note:
- There must be five or more Pro/Am routines entered in the competition for the trophy/scholarship to be awarded.
- In the event of a tie, both routines will receive a trophy and the cash scholarship will be split.
Top Adult Awards
The Adult entry receiving the highest mark, in the classifications of: Novice, Competitive Level 1 and Competitive Level 2 will be awarded with our Top Mark Adult Trophy (in each classification) and a cash scholarship.
Note:
- There must be five or more Adult routines entered in the competition, in each classification, for the trophy/scholarship to be awarded.
- In the event of a tie, both routines will receive a trophy and the cash scholarship will be split.
- Participants are only eligible for Adjudication Placement, Adjudicators’ Choice Awards and Top Mark Adult Awards.
